Nys grandfather law to individuals over 18 years old before 11/13/19

I am 19 years old and I have been buying tobacco products for a year and a half. People who were 18 before the new law came into effect should be grandfathered in.

I turned 18 january 7th, ive been able to buy tobacco products ip until now. If I'm old enough to get legally married, have kids, fight for my country, then i should still be able to buy a pack of cigarettes!!!

I think this is fair. If they already had the habit and we’re previously able to buy the product they should still be able to.

If they want us to start adulthood at 18 and enlist in the military then we should be able to buy tobacco products at 18.

I feel as if you were above the age of 18 before the law got put into place, you should still be aloud to buy tobacco products.

I'm literally about to be 20 years old and I feel like my freedom is being taken away cause "nys is trying to protect our youth" well kids are still going to get their hands on it either way.
