Nys grandfather law to individuals over 18 years old before 11/13/19

I been buying from the age of 18 and now I am 20 and can’t buy

In my opinion, we should be grandfathered in

Kids who were 18 before the law had changed should be grandfathered in.

It’s just crazy that I’m 20 years of age and cannot buy my own cigs

Stupid law. Stupid Cuomo. Stupid representatives. NYS is shot. 18 you can vote, work 40 hours a week, serve this country, and no longer a child, but you can’t go buy a vape or a pack of smokes? How stupid. I’m not for the grandfathering in, I’m for giving NYS 18 year olds rights they deserve.

This new law is outrageous I was buying cigs for almost a year and now I can’t buy anything with tabacco . This is so unfair to the community of people that were already 18

Why should you take our right away from us? We are 18 and allowed to vote but we can’t smoke a cigarette?

I get hooked on nicotine when I turned 18 and now I can’t get any. Like I’m just suppose to quit like that?

Why change it for the people who were using tobacco and at least 18 years of age before the law came into effect. There should be a grandfather clause for this because it’s not right for people who were at least 18 before this law and were also smoking to just quit when they aren’t ready or don’t want to.

It’s ridiculous that we have to suffer because a bunch of 12 year olds ruined it for us. I’ve been smoking cigarettes since I was 14 (19 now) and once I found out about the Novos and Juuls, it has helped me cut back significantly on cigs. I had to ask my mother to come with me to the store to buy a vape because they still wouldn’t sell it. They’ve grandfathered it when they raised the age in the past.

ive been smoking awhile and have been buying them myself since 2018 i think the law makes sense but also find it unfair to the ones who where 18+ before it was passed and think grandfather law would be amazing so i can still buy them for myself
