I am 18 years old. I have been since January 25th. I waited 18 years to be able to buy what the hell I feel like buying and you people think changing the ages is going to keep people like me, who have been smoking since age 13, from smoking? You’re clearly on some sort of drugs. If I can vote. I can poison myself how ever I want to. You are not supposed to change a law, without considering other laws that correspond with the one you’re changing. Check your facts boys. Grandfather clause is MY RIGHT to be able to do what I want with my life. Stop trying to change it.

totally agree. i just turned 18 in september, and i can’t even do half of the things that 18 year olds could do about a year ago.

You can go fight for your country but you can’t make your own decision to smoke or chew if you want. If you already were able to smoke and buy it before. It seems very unfair, I’m over the age but just thinking of others.

Anyone who was 18 before the age change should have a right to still be able to buy tobacco products.

We waited our turn already, its unfair to take a privilege ones just earned. Especially just to give it back in one more year? For some a couple months?

If the young men and women of this world can fight and die for their country at less than 21 years of age then they should have the right to smoke at least before they are 21. Wake up

I dont believe it is ethologically fair for young adults who were already over age to purchase tabacco products but not yet old enough to buy alcohol, to be subjected to that privilege now being taken away when they had already reached well within their rights to purchase this item.
