Nys grandfather law to individuals over 18 years old before 11/13/19

I am 20 years old. I have been buying cigarettes for two years. I should not have to stop now just because the government wants younger kids to not pick it up.

This needs to be in affect Immediately.

They should allow people that were 18 years old before 11/13/19 still be allowed to buy tobacco products

I turned 20 11/13/19 the day the law changed so for my 20th birthday Ive been banned from buying tobacco products thanks a lot nys

I feel like I've been able to buy chew and such for a couple years before the law passed so a grandfather would make sense

I’ve been smoking since I turned 18 and I’m 20 now, the fact that I’m just being cut off just isn’t right. I have an addiction and I feel like I should still be able to stop to the store and buy a pack of cigarettes after work.

Those who are 18,19 and 20 who has been buying it already shouldn’t have their rights taken away seen how they can fight for our country at 18!

I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that they raise the age to purchase tobacco products to 21, there are bigger problems in this country than someone of age buying cigarettes or e-cigs its a choice because we have the privilege of having it... some free country we live in.

you cannot simply allow 18-20 year olds up to know to purchase tobacco products, tax them (and profit from them) then all of a sudden take it away. you are physically harming a lot of people YOU LEGALLY CLASSIFY AS ADULTS! these people paid your wages and pay for this terrible decision. if the law is changed and the people voted thats acceptable, but you cannot simply take a group of peoples rights away that are legal consenting adults at the time the law is passed. point blank.
