Nys grandfather law to individuals over 18 years old before 11/13/19

Don’t let us legally by tobacco and then raise the age and take it away it’s not fare or right to do they need to grandfather the law for us that have already been purchasing tobacco products for awhile

Its ridiculous that I can serve my country in the military at 18 but can't smoke a cigarette until I'm 21

Let us get what we need to survive

Stripping away something so addicting is super unhealthy

My sister just turned 18 in August and now again will have to wait another 3 years to buy tobacco products.

You can’t just change a law when it was legal for all 18 year olds before this to just quit cold turkey and have to break the law instead

People of age are held responsible as adults but can’t even buy a nicotine product anymore??? If age of a legal adult is 18 then an 18 year old should be able to do adult things as well

Why did this law even take effect?

I turned 18 in July and I feel like it’s unfair to take away this from anyone who just turned 18 and has been waiting to be able to legally smoke

I agree that the grand father law should be put in order, for business are gonna lose so much money. If you can be 18 and fight for our country, then you can smoke too

People who were buying cigarettes before the age change to 21 should be grandfathered in the clause it's not right. We have the right!

If you’ve been buying tobacco legally before the age changed you should still be able to buy.
