Nys grandfather law to individuals over 18 years old before 11/13/19

I think the new law is absolutely ridiculous, kids will find their ways to still get them obviously. I was buying tobacco products for the last 2 years & now all of a sudden I can’t? Not fair. I stopped smoking cigarettes, I use alternative ways to keep me away from that habit & now I can’t due to this new law.

It’s not right how are u about to smoke for 2 years and be told u can’t buy them

we should be grandfathered in because that’s how it is and it always should be if a law like that ever changed since it also did with alcohol and the 21st amendment

If they can die fighting in war they should still be able tomake the decision they had been able to make before the bill passed

The laws keep changing for drinking and Tobacco from 18 to 19 to 21.. I don’t see the point in it let people do what ever they feel is right this is a free country and at the age of 18 you are an adult that can make your own decisions don’t take that privilege away.

I think the law need to be changed. Anyone who was already 18 before the law was pasted should still be aloud to purchase tobacco. It’s there choice to smoke or not. Your supposed to be an adult who makes there own decisions at 18.

Those who turned 18 before the law passed are already addicted are we expecting them to quit cold turkey or buy these illegally now?

I have been smoking for years and i think its horrible for them to just say “oh well deal with it”

It's about time someone is on the same page. I've had tobacco products my entire teenage years and now I cant buy them.. thanks Cuomo.
