Nys grandfather law to individuals over 18 years old before 11/13/19

Where is the grandfather clock law? I was 19 when this happened I’ve been buying tabacco products for a long time and out of the blue I can no longer do so. Making me feel like I’ve lost a lot of my privileges, it is so hard to keep calm when I’m in a super stressful spot in my life. I should be able to spend my money on whatever I please as long as it isn’t illegal. And this was not illegal for me to do so when I was 18 until after a few months of me being 19 the law changed grandfather clock needs to come back makes me feel to have no id until I can buy the tabacco product again and I am 20 years old now almost 21. Come on now like I shouldn’t have to wait till I’m 21 it used to be 16 years of age in order to buy these products then switched to 18 I was very young I couldn’t wait to be 16 until that law changed I couldn’t wait to be 18 I don’t even want to wait anymore to be 21 I hit the age and then this changes on me. I vote grandfather clock!!!!

I was almost 20 when they passed the law and now I’m upset I can’t buy wraps anymore. I don’t even smoke cigarettes.

If someone can fight for their country and they can vote for our president. They should be able to choose if they want to smoke.

If your 18 and considered an adult, you should be able to smoke, drink, vote and join the military! You can’t expect 18 year olds to sign up for the draft, or join the military but can’t smoke or drink. Your either an adult at 18 or everything raises to age 21. Either way, my brother is 19 next month. He’s still going to get cigarettes

We did this for voting and alcohol consumption, it should be the same for this generation too.

Can’t get the the whole country addicted to cigarettes and then expect to stop. I’m 20 years old give me a break. It’s ridiculous

I am 19 years old. I was 18 when the law went into affect. If I am old enough to get charged as an adult I should be aloud to smoke a damn cigarette.

I was able to buy them before I should be able to still. I sell them at my store. I’m old enough to sell them, not buy them!

I’m 18 and I believe that I should be able to smoke cigarettes it helps with my stress.

I should get the grandfather long, I turned 19 October 10th of 2019, I'll be 20 in October, 10th of 2020, I turned 19 before November, 13, 2019, so I should get the ground father law for that.

Been buying tobacco since I was 17 at some places and now I cant buy a pack of cigs as im almost 21??? Thats bs

I'm 20 years old and I have had army recruiters ask me to join since I was in school. You ask people to fight but people cant smoke or chew? I'm not aggravated it's just something I hear from others.

I feel this is necessary for those who have been 18 before the given date.
