Nys grandfather law to individuals over 18 years old before 11/13/19

I believe if I can die for this country I should be able to smoke! I'm 20 and I will contest I will get vape juice one way or another. My husband vapes hes 23. I vote for the grandfather law

Can't even buy smoking cessation products to even quit. This law is leaving a lot of young people going cold turkey

Definitely should be grandfathering people in seeing how people that have been 18 and started smoking are already addicted and are going to get cigarettes regardless

I am now 20 years old. I can be drafted for the military but I cant legally buy a pack of smoke or some vape juice.

While I understand increasing the age to 21 is to prolong substance use of nicotine in younger generations; You’re thus penalizing individuals who prior were *of age. It’s non-sensical and this should be passed.

This should go into affect because I was buying tobacco months before this law change

I've been smoking for years, I'm 20 now and I should be allowed to continue to smoke, I'm more than capable of making my own life decisions I dont need the government to make my choices for me

That exciting moment when I was 18 back in 2017 and could buy cigs and do things I couldn't before now it done gone and changed and I'm waiting here for 21 at 20 years old to beable to do the same stuff I was able to do a couple of months ago now I randomly cant that's not what America is about sign this damn petition

I’m a fireman and been active since I was 14, I bought cigarettes for a year and a half just for them to tell me I can’t anymore

I feel if we can sign our life over to the military at 18 or get drafted then the law should of stayed at 18. But also grandfathering people who were smoking for 2+ years at 18 and are now 20 would please them and cause less arguments over the whole thing.
