This Trooper exhibits dedication to the job and the ability to carry out his duties. He conducts his duties better with one hand tied behind his back than many others currently on the road.

Brian is a hardworking individual who continually fought his illness and performed above and beyond throughout. He should be afforded the opportunity to pass physical requirements and qualifications as most military and LE organizations have done. These organizations realize in our current society individuals like Brian are a sacred commodity. Brian We support you!

Trooper Buchanan is a dedicated Member of the NYSP. He is probably more capable than many other "physically fit" than many others, and it is an atrocity that he is not provided an opportunity to continue his career.

I have worked with Brian directly for nearly all of his career. Brian gives 110% everyday. More than I can say for myself. Even battling cancer on days he clearly was a peak exhaustion he came to work and did his best. Brian does more with one eye than some of his peers who know they don’t have to more than the bare minimum on this “State” job. Brian deserves the chance to be heard. And if asked I along with many others will stand behind him. Tony Dyer

Brian is of the quality and caliber that our job needs. The job should be fighting for him, not him fighting the job.
