McDonaldland cookies are produced by the Keebler Foods Company in a facility where peanut products are also manufactured. Therefore the cookies cannot be guaranteed as a nut-free product. Given the severity of food allergies, Keebler made a proactive decision to include a precautionary statement on the cookie packaging. McDonalds is a Family restrauant which prides itself in it's Children friendly atmosphere. I find it very difficult to believe that this very popular and successful restrauant chain cannot offer a product which is safe for children who are already restricted from so many other foods. Please sign this petition which will be forwarded to the restraunts coporate offices in an attempt that the restraunt chain will reconsider their choices for the manufacturing of their dessert cookies for children. There are many companies who offer products which are guaranteed nut-free.
