Hi. My name is Dylan and I am 12 years old. Lots of busy families rely on fast food to provide quick meals on the go but imagine not being able to eat out at all. This is my reality!
I was born with numerous food allergies including dairy, eggs, tree nuts, sesame and beef. This has made it challenging to find a place where I can safely eat. Wendy's used to be a safe place for me. I could eat the chicken nuggets and fries. However, I was diagnosed with celiac disease earlier this year and now I can no longer eat there. This is because their fries and chicken nuggets are fried in the same fryer and unfortunately the chicken nuggets contain gluten.
I want to change this not only for myself but for everyone who has to deal with this kind of reality. I want to make it possible for everyone with celiac disease to have more dining options. I think Wendy’s can help achieve my goal by using separate fryers for fries and chicken nuggets so people with severe food restrictions, vegetarians, and vegans can eat Wendy’s fries without worrying about cross-contamination with the nuggets!

My son has celiac too and it is so hard to find anything safe when we are traveling. Wendy's really needs to step up and fix this.
Common sense fix. Just get a second fryer and everyone wins.
I agree ,Wendy’s can help achieve my goal by using separate fryers for fries and chicken nuggets so people with severe food restrictions, vegetarians, and vegans can eat Wendy’s fries without worrying about cross-contamination with the nuggets!
