Nurse Led clinics need to be allowed! We participate in the correct training to be able to operate effectively! Stop this hierarchy of Drs vs Nurses ! It is completely different. If a prescribing Dr is authorising the use of an S4 medication there is no issue? It’s the same within all Queensland health hospital services so why can’t nurse led clinics be the same and have the same operations

These changes will effectively put hundreds of clinics on the chopping board, thousands of jobs will be lost, millions of dollars taken out of our economy and completely shatter the lives of families who have put every thing they have in supporting businesses growth and development. Not to mention making this industry run only by people who will be 100% doing the wrong thing by patients. This is a recipe for disaster both for business and for consumers.

This is ridiculous nurses have had more then enough training increasing the prices and adding a dr to be on site is silly, there is nothing wrong with Skyping the dr to gain clearance to go ahead. I think leave it the way it is. It’s quick simple, save and effective the way it is
