Against GST especially at this time. Need stimulus along with tax reforms. GST too cumbersome for Anguilla.

The tax is too high. It’s so disappointing that my homeland is forcibly pushing locals out of their land by making the way of life unaffordable. The government is no longer looking out for Anguillians.

Im sorry but I can't beleive this is what the party I voted for has decided to do in a time like this when so much of people I still fighting for a better life after getting hit by Irma and then covid has been sit backs so much

A bill that imposes such a high tax is not feasible for locals. That much of a service charge is ridiculous, and problematic to the islands citizens. Take a look at Hawaii, where the land and infrastructure has been taken over by non natives because of the expense imposed on the locals. Anguilla would be vulnerable in the same way soon because locals would no longer be able to afford that lifestyle. Which would open the door for more foreigners. Ultimately Anguilla is at risk of losing its culture and people if this continues.
