Many Anguilla are still not fully recovered from the hurricane and then came covid 19..

Partner of a ferry boat owner, who has not been in operation for a whole year and a half. It will be totally unfair, for GST to be implemented, when so many persons on this Island is hurting financially. So please stop going forward with Gst.

I’m not in favor of the GST idea. The timing is not right and the conditions under which it is to be implemented are not beneficial for us here in Anguilla.
There should be other alternatives that would work for us in this crises. We just need to be more creative.

I do not believe in the GST at anytime for Anguilla. As I believe it is too cumbersome. I do however believe in tax reform to be implemented at a good time. Which can help safety nets. What we need now urgently is stimulus. You cannot get blood from a stone!

The poor people of Anguilla will suffer greatly with GST we are not ready for this .
The cost to put systems in place is not affordable at this time.

Anguillla business are not in the position to takke on GST at the moment. Secondly, tooo much cost for the Government to police GST
