I feel that the current “solution” for the storage of nuclear waste from San Onofre is no solution at all

Nuclear power is our best chance to end life as we know it on this planet. Don't use nuclear power; don't create nuclear waste. This is IMPORTANT!

Take it out of here! This is a accident waiting to happen and all of us will pay the price.

It is insane to believe that the storage plans for the nuclear waste will be effective enough to protect the citizens of the local areas, not to mention the "drift" that would accompany a radiation leak due to insufficient materials being used.
How far could a radiation event spread and what would be the impact on our health, personal property and local-national-global economies?
I have personally moved away from my previous residence, which was only 10 miles from San Onofre, but I do have friends and family still residing in the area. I am concerned for their safety and long-term health. I don't think that anyone can predict the potential disaster to residents of the local area if there are leaks, not to mention the potential for disaster with the event of an earthquake or tsunami. Please reconsider moving the waste storage to another location that doesn't put literally millions of people at risk.

Nuclear waste is the problem that the nuclear power industry never solved. Nuclear waste from a plant must be stored for a longer period of time than human society as existed.

I spent many magical summers camping at San Onofre. The issue of dangerous spent fuel and radiation needs to be solved at any cost!

Store waste off site and further inland to prevent the disaster which occurred in Japan.
