We, the post graduate of emergency medicine graduated on May 2016, petition the National Specialist Register to waive the new ruling of General Requirement On Post Qualification Experience published by National Specialist Register on their official website (https://www.nsr.org.my/index2.htm).
This new ruling state "Effective January 2017, applicants must have at least ONE (1) year post qualification working experience for medical related specialties/fields of practice and at least TWO (2) years for surgical related specialties/fields of practice."
We finished our study on 31st May 2016. We never delay our report to duty. However we only officially posted on 11th July by Ministry of Health which is clearly not a delay from our side. If we were posted immediately, we should have qualify for NSR registration according to the old ruling.
I demand that the National Specialist Register waive us from the new ruling as it is not pre-informed and it is an unfair action on us.

Total nonsense. Dont punish us for bureaucracy that isnt our fault. We should be registered based on when we finished our training!!

This is so unfair. We worked hard for our post grad and now they move the goalposts without telling anyone. Its not our fault the MOH took their time posting us.
