It needs to be understood that the diminished level of service by the IRS cannot be placed upon the backs of the tax professional community to overcome.

Much needed. Clients blame us and accuse us of not working on their behalf when we cannot get timely answers` to their concerns.

A Must, WE are an extension of Service to the public that cost Nothing to the budget of US. When you can not answer the phones, we Must!

This action is long overdue. A major problem I see is the failure of IRS being able to enforce the very laws that Congress has passed, yet Congress continues to diminish IRS' resources to accomplish this most important responsibility of their governmental mandate.

I will be presenting the NSA Practitioners Bill of Rights before the Wisconsin Accounting Examining Board on Tuesday September 8th. Any assistance that you might provide would be appreciated. Bob

I fully support the taxpayer bill of rights.

Wonderful ideas and very much needed. However, I don't think Congress will go for it because it requires them to do their job AND do it in a timely manner. That's just not their style.
