On hold on practitioner line for 3hrs 14 minutes. When answered, auto message states, "Due to technical difficulties, we are unable to answer your call at this time". RIDICULOUS!

I strongly support each provision of the NSA Tax practitioner Bill of Rights. Tax practitioners need support from legislators. These practitioners are critical to collection of taxes by government and education of citizens to support our tax system.

Thank you NSA for the actions you are taking you address these very important issues. The Petition outlines some needed steps toward improving some of the problems. I hope IRS and the rest of our government will implement these steps.

Phone service on the practitioner's hotline is frustrating at best.

When is Congress going to be serious about rewriting the tax law?
To make it simpler?

Thank you NSA for leading the way on such a vital issue to Our Nation and its People. We pray we still have elected officials who can hear and respond to our pleas from the wilderness. We ask for no further monetary appropriations. We only ask for the frugal use of funds allocated to this department.
Respectfully submitted,

Specifically Congress also needs to abide and be aware of the backlash of their late actions with respect to tax law.

It has become increasingly difficult to help older taxpayers become compliant with their tax filing and tax payment obligations because of petty issues regarding powers of attorney etc. especially when taxpayers are residing in nursing homes. Just an example of complete frustration in trying to help them comply!!

TRYING TO WORK WITH THE IRS AND THEIR CONSTANT DELAYS AND AUTOMATIC REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL TIME TO RESPOND, WHILE CONTINUING TO ADD PENALTIES AND INTERST TO WHAT IRS CLAIMS TO BE AMOUNTS DUE, AND WHILE IRS CONTINUES TO SEND OUT DEMAND FOR PAYMENT LETTERS WHEN THE IRS has not responded to correspondence from me (the CPA) or the taxpayer is very frustrating and costly for everyone including the IRS.

It is a shame that common sense has to be requested through a petition!
