It's about time that IRS provides the services to taxpayers and practitioners that they deserve and desperately need.

We are one of the few Enrolled Agents who, having worked in the US and various regions across the globe, specialize in international returns; we play an important role serving the needs of US persons and foreign nationals alike, who may not otherwise understand the interplay between US and foreign tax laws to fully comply with their US tax reporting requirements and/or conduct their cross-border tax transactions/reporting in the most effective manner possible in accordance with the relevant tax conventions. Unfortunately, recent developments of IRS' security and compliance processes have left us behind simply because we are not US persons in spite of our long history of US tax compliance (e.g. I have been licensed as an EA and representing clients since 1999). We are, thus, not able to e-file or enroll in various e-Services, which are vital to our ability to serve our clients who, in turn, are left with no option but to file their tax returns on paper. I hope NSA would be able to represent us before the IRS in the interest of our clients who could and do benefit from our unique set of experience and skills. Should you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me. Warm regards, Jensen

All we ask is common courtesy when we work with the IRS on behalf of taxpayers.

I absolutely and totally support the tax practitioner bill of rights! After all, we've studied to become credentialed and recognized by the IRS, EA.

Timely information and services helps all practitioners reach the tax goals and professional initiatives set forth to represent all of our clients.

YES YES YES.. Also, since forms are seems to be arriving later and later I think tax season should end April 30th! With the change in partnership and corporation year ends it totally made tax season more stressful and demanding of my time.

Yes, I had an audit start in March...really good timing. However, I provided the auditor with all that they requested, when the walked in the door.

As a fellow PTIN holder studying for the rights to become a practitioner I feel that this position addresses things that are relevant especially to the clients.

It now takes a taxpayer ending up in collections before you can get the ITS to acknowledge prior correspondence and get the file moving. Hours are spent on the phone for clients and now I must charge them even for the most ridiculous mistake by the IRS. If any business cu the funding of their AR department, the company would go bankrupt, This is what our legislators are doing.
