Traffic is already backed up every day, The area can't tolerate any more without major road construction. The developers don't care, they won't live here. It's all about the money for them.

The traffic in front of Kemp Elementary and on Lost Mountain Rd between Corner Rd and Dallas Highway is already ridiculous and Kyle Farm hadn't even opened yet. Not to mention the safety of the kids at Kemp.

This area can not accommodate any more traffic! Especially across from an elementary building and the corner of lost mountain and Dallas. Traffic is backed up for miles there every day blocking oakleigh neighborhood.

We need to preserve our natural beauty of West Cobb and balance development with existing land and its zoning.

I would like to see the Commissioners follow the recommendations of the professionals in the Planning Department and ensure that developments in the area are consistent with surrounding properties and follow the Comprehensive Plan.

Traffic congestion. Depletion of natural ecology. Devaluation of property. Safety of school children and future size of school- property need. Needs to be a lower volume and upscale senior development.

We all have poured time, money and resources to build a close knit community with very good schools and rural feel ( though withsaddled traffic) . These RSL's are a developers delight, get in / get out and forget about it. The property is on a creek / natural spring floodplain which takes a third of what they are terming "green space". This means that the avg lot size are less than 10k square feet which will be an actual density of 4-6 homes on a build able acre. Property buffer of 10 feet between adjacent homes. That density is insane, builder simply asks for the max and 5% reduction gets 135 single family rsl homes. , majority 1200 sq ft , 2 car garage... The fix is in if community does not speak up. Traffic studies cited are erroneous, matching density to all the surrounding R30 in every direction very low density residential (vldr) which is 3x the amount land was zoned/earmarked for. Look around Cobb over the last year, we are being inundated with these for new zoning requests. The BOC needs to hear from West Cobb, we don't desire the density that East Cobb has and Dallas Highway will be a paved parking lot from Lost Mnt - Barret if brakes and common sense are not applied. If it can't be greenspace then lower the rsl density in line with surrounding community R30.

Concerns: Current and future traffic stress with developing area subdivisions. Too many undervalued units on small lot sizes causing a devaluation of current homes in the area. Disturbing the ecology of the area.

This new development will certainly put a significant burden on traffic in and around Dallas Highway, Lost Mountain, and Corner Road.

Disappointing that the recommendation is to not approve it, yet it gets approved. This will not be good for West Cobb or our school area. 55+ housing is already available in West Cobb.

Corner Rd. And Lost Mountain are already too congested- please no more development!

There is way too much in West Cobb already. Not right to change zoning that will diminish the tax base and increase traffic.

I oppose the change of zoning and subsequent development of the land at the intersection of Corner Road and Lost Mountain Road for all of the valid reasoning presented herein.

As residents of the Echo Mill community and of Cobb County we thoroughly disagree with the approval for development on this parcel. In addition to increased traffic congestion, there are also other contributory factors impacting our community which include but are not limited too, over crowding of schools and surrounding recreational use areas, air and noise pollution, environmental impacts to water shed and wildlife, a taxing of our first responders, burdens to our social services systems. West Cobb County has resisted the high density sprawl for many years and we would like it to continue to do so.

the roads out here can not handle the traffic! Stop over development!
