I agree that traffic is already beyond ridiculous at Lost Mountain and Corner Road. The last thing we need in that location is MORE development! Let's oppose the rezoning request and if Bob Weatherford doesn't agree, let's send him on his way like Tim Lee!

I am opposed to Changing the zoning in the area of Corner Road by Kemp Elementary. Traffic is heavy, current zoning is there to control development to protect current residents.

Unless serious traffic changes and infrastructure, which needs to be done any way, are made PRIOR to any new development, then this should not even be a possibility. Further 136 homes?! That is ridiculous.

I believe strongly in growth & development, but, what about the safety of our kids and the day to day lives of parents who have children at this school.

Traffic is awful on Lost Mountain Rd . No one has mentioned traffic improvements with this development, probably because no one is going to do it.

We do not want more traffic in this area. We also do not want to be rezoned out of the Kemp district! Please leave the zoning as-is. It was decided that way for a reason.

There is too much traffic in this area already. Getting in and out of school is dangerous now and will be worse with all of the already approved development.

This area should not be allowed to be rezoned for high density housing. Calling it 55+ is no more than a ploy to place smaller homes on smaller lots in the area. It hurts home values, it further burdens already crushing traffic, and has the potential to overtax the schools (since there is no legal requirement that the area STAYS senior housing.)

We chose West Cobb instead of East Cobb for our home, as we are not high density, congested traffic, overcrowded schools kind of people! Please slow the development wheel!! I am already not looking forward to the expansion at the Avenues!!

Why would you approve any type of development that would decrease our property value. Don't you think we've suffered enough trying to regain some of the value we lost !!!

There needs to be a moratorium on RSLs who don't pay school takes after 62 until this is sorted out as well as a recent traffic count by the DOT. This area has seen tremendous traffic growth. Email your Cobb County Commissioners!

With the very large community being built at the intersection of Corner and Lost Mountain and the current state of traffic on this small road, we should not consider adding any more housing in this area. The fact that the 55 and over community can sell to anyone afterwards who is not 55 and over also adds concerns to over crowding of Kemp Elementary.
