Traffic on Lost Mountain Rd is already super heavy and with the new Kyle Farms added to the mix, any other development will cause a complete grid lock of the Corner, Lost Mountain, Dallas Hwy and Mars Hill areas. No one will want to buy the homes will the horrible traffic.

Live in the Oakleigh Subdivision on Lost Mtn. Road, which by the way does not have any traffic lights, during the morning and evening rush hours, this area is a nightmare. With the new subdivision that is currently being built will also add to the already nightmare that exist. We will NOT be able to handle an additional development. Also, special concern should be given to the possibility of accidents. Do the studies on the number of accidents that have already occurred. You will be surprised and the new subdivision has just started.

Wind song may have used theoretical engineering analysis, but reality is realtime. Have Cobb County engineers view present severe traffic congestion at Corner Road at 7am-7:45am and 4:45pm-6:30pm. This is before the Kemp Farm development comes on line. This vital interaction cannot and should not be stressed further with "Johnny Come Lately" Windsong development.

Do the traffic study before you grant this. Better yet, come live in this area for a few days and decide that we need more housing and more traffic.

We already have bumper to bumper traffic now . The 209 Kyle Farm houses aren't even built yet! I vote no to changing the zone to high density!!

The congestion of this area is already intolerable. We have not yet seen one house complete from development across street and the impact that it is going to have on an already intense traffic problem. I strongly disagree with the development going in. Keep this space green. Keep this area family friendly by not overcrowding.

VOTE NO!!! The traffic problem in this area is beyond ridiculous. With an average of 2 cars per household, that's 700 more vehicles using the Corner Road intersection.

Any development in front of Kemp Elementary will definitely have a deterioration effect to the quality of our environment. Furthermore, it could result in a fatality due to the traffic increase. The county should also consider the impact to the students, teachers, and staff at Kemp.

Absolutely against developers, jumping onto the current trend of bandwagon construction for the aging baby boomer demographic, forcing longtime residents into living into another gridlocked incarnation of East Cobb. Windsong Properties' agenda is irresponsible and unethical. The public and Cobb County zoning officials need to be constantly aware and resistant to developers' initiatives to create their short-term financial gains out of density disasters which will be permanent for all of us.

I would suggest first that anyone interested in how poorly our planning commission is working view the 9/8/16 Cobb County Planning Commission meeting posted on youtube. This petition software won’t allow links. Planning Commissioner Mr. Gunther apptd by Comm. Weatherford ignored staff recommendations to not pass, ignored and acted dismissively toward the citizens present in opposition, and recited Windsong’s talking points. He acted as an advocate for Windsong rather than as an impartial advisor to the BOC. Mars Hill/Lost Mtn intersection with Dallas Highway is already backed up and dangerous. Many t-bone and sideswiping traffic accidents occur here at high speeds on a regular basis. Existing businesses at this intersection are losing patronage because it is simply too hard to enter or exit these at certain times of the day. Combining this with locating a high density development directly across from Kemp Elementary will simply add to the danger of accidents with small children involved
