Add NOW/COMP Funding To Georgia's 2021 Budget

This is a cause very personal to me. I have a family member that needs this to be able to afford life improving care and services. Please give due consideration to this provision. It helps family's to survive the overwhelming costs of caring for a loved one with disabilities. Please help! It's in your hands.

Developmentally disabled people and their families deserve this help. It is life changing for them. Please unlock the waiting lists!

GA ADAPT

With a waiting list over 7,000, we need at least 125 new waivers available for NOW/COMP.

Please provide waivers for those with developmental disabilities. I know first hand how important they are!

Please add NOW/COMP funding to Georgia's 2021 budget.

Please fund the waivers. So very important for our special kids!

My 20 year old daughter is on the waitlist for these resources that will support her desire to have access and contribute to her community.

Please reconsider funding for the thousands in need!

It should not be a question if we need to help the vulnerable in our population! Every government official needs to think, this could be my son, daughter, grandchild, wife, husband, friend, neighbor, brother, sister, mother, father, aunt, uncle. We need to do a better job in taking care of our loved ones. If this was your loved one, you would want them to get help! Expand the budget today!

The NOW COMP waivers are so important for our families who have dependent adults who have intellectual or developmental disabilities. Without these supports, these individuals would have limited opportunities in their communities. The parents or guardians would also be impacted as they would have to either pay for private services which would be financially impossible for most of our families or quit their jobs to stay home with their dependent adults. These waivers can help our dependent adults become productive members of their communities. Please do not cut existing funds for the waivers and better yet, please consider additional funding for the waivers

Georgia needs to do more to assist individuals with disabilities and their families. Please address this funding shortfall.

My heart breaks for the families who are in need of help. Please help decrease the waiting list by approving funding for new waivers AND making a plan to eliminate the list altogether. The fact that there is a list of this size is truly shameful.

This is sorely needed. Even this is only a small part of the need. Families are suffering and falling apart because of the lack of support for their loved ones.
