Whereas the children and families of El Cerrito, Richmond and beyond use the Arlington Park heavily, including community groups, schools and city programs for day camps, picnic rentals, school field trips, tennis, and classes and events at the youth hut, and
Whereas there is a daycare with small children in the neighborhood next to the Camp Herms site and onsite residents less than 120 feet from the proposed Tower site, and
Whereas we are concerned about studies on Cell Phone Towers and health and safety hazards, especially next to Arlington Park and our Community with young children and toddlers, and
Whereas we are concerned about impacts to Property Values, and
Whereas this 77 foot (6+ story) tree Cell Tower will be visible to the community from Arlington Park and not aesthetically look good in this natural setting, and T-Mobile has not agreed to prevent tree cutting especially as they expand this industrial tower to 36 antenna coming closer to the ground,, and
Whereas T-Mobile already has a site at Moeser and Arlington to cover the service they claim is missing in their city plans, and the City of El Cerrito does not have ordinances to test emissions from the Cell Tower,
We, the undersigned, do not support the proposal for a T-Mobile Cell Phone Tower at the Camp Herms Boy Scout Camp above Arlington Park in El Cerrito.

T-Mobile refuses to acknowledge that they are dropping an ugly industrial eyesore directly into our kids' play space. Their silence on our health concerns is insulting and shows exactly how little they care about this community. We are not letting them tear up Camp Herms just so they can pad their coverage maps.

77 feet!! thats way too high for an eyesore like that. looks like they dont care about the neighborhood at all.

Ridiculous to put this near the daycare and the park. Kids are playing right there! Find somewhere else for this thing, not in a residential neighborhood where families spend all their time.
