The feedback from local business owners has been heavy and honest about what this shop means for our future. I am meeting with the council to press them on the zoning implications because we cannot let our village character be dismantled without a fight.

Reaching this point has been exhausting but seeing this level of momentum proves we are not fighting this alone. It is clear that the character of our village is worth protecting despite how difficult this campaign has become.

i moved here for the village feel. big supermarkets will just kill the high street and make it look like everywhere else.
Please no. I love Barkers and the bakery. Tesco will just ruin the atmosphere here.
Total disaster for local business. support your local butcher and baker people, dont let a corporate giant push them out!
Tesco is the last thing we need. Traffic is already a nightmare as it is.
keep shelford independent. dont let them take over.

Keep our village unique!!! We dont need another tesco taking business from the local shops that have been here for donkey's years.
