I do not want my team who I have supported for more than 50 years merged in any way shape or form with the scum from the east

I'm a Warrington fan but this is no good what so ever for the game these to clubs have worked so hard to get to where they are now it's madness the fans couldn't relate to each other either you grow up supporting your colours that stays with you for life I do hope these directors see sence I say NO TO THE MERGER good luck with this I hope all the rugby league family get together on this crazy idea .

Adam pearson displays a touching (if misguided)faith in the Rugby League knowing what they are doing in aiming for 8 academies. Most of their crackpot ideas seem to have done nothing but damage to the game we all used to love.eg scrapping A teams, dual registrations,magic gimmicks etc

47 years I've supported fc and majority of that with a pass! No chance next season not paying for the dobbins future youth I'm done

A very ill thought out idea, typical of the clubs to cock it up from the start. Talent is out there but it needs work to identify in the correct areas and get the transition to higher grades right. Only last week the clubs were still trying to get one over each other still, with so many forces pulling in different directions I can only see this current idea doomed to failure as it stands.
