Why do you need SO much money to live when others involved in “direct contact “ don’t get as much an increase? It’s unjustified & everyone needs to share in the struggle, take it “for the gipper”. Nurses don’t get such extravagant raises in salary. I’m public school edyoumahkayted from K to MSN.

Number 1 priority is to focus on the students, teachers and staff being healthy and safe. The money is needed to support students, teachers and staff not Ms. Fano’s incentive.

She’s looking for a raise and I have to spend even more money on tutoring cause my kids will only be at school 8 hours a week, GTFO! How about a decrease as a show of good faith.

I don’t think my salary has increased 40% in the past 10 years. My wife’s salary as a teacher certainly hasn’t increased that much.

Now is not the time for a raise. Get technology and chrome books for the students. Chester gives all their 6th graders chromebooks when they enter the middle school. They barely spend $$ on books anymore, spend money on what’s needed. During quarantine every student had a chrome book and the transition was easy. Randolph was not prepared. Spend the money preparing for emergencies.

The response to last year lock down only demonstrated the lack of preparedness and substandard adoption of technology by our school district. Its easy to look good in easy times, the hard time expose the weaknesses and when many people are strugling with these changes now is not the time to award a bonus or raise when you have yet to prove if leadership is making the necessary changes to adapt and overcome.

This is outrageous! What has Fano done to deserve such a crazy raise? This decision MUST be rescinded immediately!

While 60% of property taxes go to fund schools to educate our kids, it is a disgrace that the leaders of the school systems and unions want more for themselves and less for the kids. Shame Shame on even thinking to increase this woman's salary during these rough times for the hard working people who want to work and send their kids Safely to School, but can't because of the virus set free amongst us to kill us and our country. Then to really kick us when we're down they want to increase her salar at a ridiculous rate of 15% WOW.

When so many are struggling this is absolutely ridiculous and completely uncalled for.
