In these financially difficult times our community can not afford a 40% merit increase... we are all struggling financially

Every increase leads to an increase in property taxes. With People losing their jobs, reduced salaries, senior citizens struggling - I say no.

Definitely not the time ! It’s repulsive one would even pull a stunt like this when families are suffering in her district

This is not the time. governments are suffering from a shortfall. If for some reason, Randolph has the money to give raises, reduce property taxes instead. Residents and businesses are suffering due to COVID 19

RIDICULOUS. Bonus is exactly that...a BONUS for doing well, it is NOT GUARANTEED. This increase is unheard of in the corporate world with no title increase .... it is ABSURD n an educational setting.

Under the economic stress we are faced with, this is not the time to give a 15% increase especially since the contractual wording used “may” and not “will “. In either case, our community has reached a high level of financial loss.

As a graduate from a previous year, I’m saddened to look back at what was once my school and see that they are ignoring the students so openly, during a time where they need their attention the most. Shame on you Randolph.

It is amazing that while we are in a pandemic, raises are being considered for someone who makes such a large amount of money. This should be reserved for underpaid teachers who are working double time to provide online and in person lectures and those who may be left without a job if we shut down (janitors and bus drivers). The idea of a raise during this time is abhorrent.

Now is the time to put technology in the hands of students who are without due to hardship. No child left behind. Also, monies need to better secure the safety of our students and staff in the schools with covid PPE and precautions. A raise should be the last thing on any educators mind.

Now is not the time to give our superintendent a raise even if other districts are doing so. Rolling a $30,000 raise into the base moving forward, makes you wonder where the incentives are. And why now? Why, when we are in the middle of a pandemic that may prevent our schools from opening in person at all, would the board think of giving a 15% raise? While that money may have to be allocated in certain ways, it should not be for another raise during these difficult times.
