taxpayers don't get 15% raises. Better come up with a more realistic figure.

I'm a Senior Citizen and always try to support the "school budget". Can't support these one off expense increases.

I worked in a company that provided merit based bonuses. In good years, I got great bonuses, some years none and some years less than the year before. That is why it is call merit and discretionary. Putting it in a salary gives her no incentive to do better.

Most employers have frozen salary increases. This is not the time to give a 15% increase. I work in HR and that amount of an increase is unheard of.

This year is not the time to award raises to administrators. Teachers deserve every raise & benefit we can give them.

Not the year to fold in a bonus. Focus on the needs of your tax payers, then circle back to your contract.

With all due respect to Ms. Fano, this is not the year to award discretionary bonuses to administrators, irrespective of their own expectations.
In the coming year, educators and staff will unselfishly and contrary to medical experts’ advice make up the “frontline” of a system intended to educate and CARE for our children. These educators and staff will literally put their lives and the lives of their loved ones in jeopardy for our children. Under these extreme circumstances, the bonuses belong to the front line workers not the policy makers.

It this crazy world of job loss, financial strains on everyone, Ms.Fano should be grateful for her position as well as her salary.

This is so wrong. Merit/bonus pay should not be rolled into a new higher salary, especially since her performance and the BOE has been questionable.

Not only should there not be an increase, there should be a decrease. Many university presidents have taken pay cuts to help out.

No way people like myself list 2 jobs during this plandemic and taxpayers just can’t afford to go give increases like that during a time like this! No way!
