Not in my backyard

I most definitely oppose the zoning variance change which Luba's Pet Spa & Boarding Facility are asking for. This will only make the matter worse for the surrounding residents and neighborhoods. Sound travels and dogs barking is not something I care to hear. There is already enough noise pollution (traffic) that we don't need to add to it. This type of business does not belong in a residential area!

The day and night noise from all of these pets will lower our property values, cause disruptions at the schools and cause all of the dogs inside their homes to bark as well. We can do so much better than this!

This is not a good dit for the area. An additional concern if this was to be approved and thw business fails (which could be likely with 20+ boarding facilities within 12 miles) the building would be unusable for any other purpose. The resulting vacant building would be a further blight on the community further lowering property values. In addition to the noise issues mentioned there is a health concern with runoff of animal waste into the adjacent pond and overall air quality in the area. It is not possible for the proposed facility to prevent the animal waste smell or water contamination with open kenals and play spaces.

I oppose this project for all reasons on this petition but particularly oppose ANY Zoning Variances that are this close to the JCP Community

Terrible location right in the middle of JCP neighborhoods! We don’t need yet another dog spa in the immediate area. Detriment to the nearby homeowners and JCP in general. There needs to be something there where families could patronize being that they could walk from Sutton Hollow, The Oaks or Pine Chase communities not to mention after school from Durbin Creek Elementary and Fruit Cove Middle.

Enough is enough! There are boarding facilities & pet spas everywhere around JCP area already. This is a busy intersection & supposedly a fire dept station already going on that corner. Homeowner's deserve better than to hear barking dogs all day & night 7/365. Racetrack Rd. is looking more & more like a strip mall!

There’s just too much development going on and another boarding place is really not needed.

I am opposed to building Luba’s Pet Spa and Boarding Facility in the proposed location. It will have a detrimental impact on the property values for homes in the area and the noise would be a nuisance to the homeowners trying to enjoy their outdoor living spaces.

The area is not set up for this type of business . The infrastructure has not been built to handle the traffic. This business would not be a good benefit for the current location since the lot is too small for these type of planned services that will be conducted.

This is a family neighborhood and there is no need for this in our backyards.

Feel for the residents of that area. Dogs consistently barking is never a great thing to have close by
