This is a possible EPA VIOLATION if there is fecel run-off into a waterway!!!! And yet another example of the county's continued poor judgment and thirst for growth AKA $$$. Suggestion- Commissioner and Planning and Zoning members--- put it in your own backyards!

This is an extremely bad idea here! This must be stopped. There is a big concern about the adverse health effects of chronic noise in this particular situation-- among other health issues.

In addition to the previously stated comments, one could question the need for the projected kennels in the area. There is already another Dog Kennel facility being built on Racetrack Rd. as well as on US 1 just North of Racetrack. So with two new facilities being built, and having others already in the area in Mandarin, this business is not needed in a residential area. It would negatively affect the home values and "historical, natural beauty" that Julington Creek Plantation was founded upon and directly advertises.

This will add an additional danger for the Elementary School age children that have to cross Veterans Pkwy. No one drives 45 mph in this area and it is just a matter of time before there is another tragic accident.

No business should be able to break the 200 ft. Rule to protect houses. It also is will cause a lot more traffic at a very busy intersection that kids ride bikes and walk to school.
