Regardless the cause, not standing to honor our flag and the men and women who serve in our armed forces is not the answer. The politicization of this sport so loved by so many is ruining the joy of the game, but then to disrespect the flag and our American hero's is a step to far. By signing this petition I agree I will not spend any money on NFL merchandise of any kind, and I will not attend or watch football UNTIL ALL PLAYERS STAND UP during the National Anthem and pay appropriate respect the the country that I love and those who defend it. Are there problems? Yes, Can we overcome them? Yes - but it starts with STANDING TOGETHER.

The volume of support has reached a level that allows me to initiate contact with league executive offices. I am currently drafting a formal letter that outlines our position on anthem protocols to ensure this reaches the proper administrative channels.

felons that get away with crime because they make alot of money for the owners.i will not ever watch buy or support them as i did for 50 years
Their are untold numbers of great athletes who were not fortunate enough to get to play at the pro level who would be more than glad to stand at attention for the flag & the anthem & to play ball!
I go to a football game to watch football, not to watch political protests that disrespect this country. Protest on your own time, not mine.
I'm an Army veteran. Most of these NFL clowns never left the safety of a campus or football stadium. Look at the Police Officers running into the active danger zone in Las Vegas tonight to protect a very diverse crowd. Don't you dare kneel this Sunday you NFL cowards.
NFL, I will return when it is a rule to take off the helmet, place the right hand over the heart and stand for the anthem.... No less!

Wearing a football uniform does not make one a hero....wearing a uniform to fight for our right to be free in America always has and will make a hero in my book...it takes courage to make a lifetime sacrifice ...life sacrifices are far more heroic that playing a game. Hi
