An excellent example of how one coach turned a football program around is George Smith and the Mckeessport Tigers. Why not make a change. What is the worse that could happen another losing season.

I agree with every bodys comments. Its time for a change. There is alot of talent in our own school district to have a great football team . But its not going to happen over night. We just need to rebuild our system starting with the coach.But the players are going to have to have the passion and the drive to do this as well. I have coached alot of these students threw the PAL system. And what a great pragram it is. All of those kids had the passion and drive to want to be on the football field every down of the game. So i will have to say its a good time for a change. For the community and the students at Norwin High School

It is both the coaching staff and the players. Getting rid of the head coach will not solve much but it would lead the organization in the right direction. The kids aren't going to turn in to some undefeated d1 recruits if they get a new coach. It's about passion and commitment and when they lost in the past, all the blame got put on Treg and not the athletes.

I don't think it will help if u change coachs. If the football team would play together they would win but I see too many i's on the team. There was no reason why they couldn't of won at least 6 games this past years. Let the coachs coach and parents and board members stay off the field and quite brown nose the coach if your kids is good he starts if not sit the beanch. Go Norwin

This players have won as middle school and freshman but when they get to high school they are label as " NO Win". This isn't the image that the district or the players should hear when they walk on the field. We are not giving them the tools to win. It starts with the head coaches. It's time for change!!! The players deserved it after all they go through in a season.

We need coaches that aren't "dads, teachers or someone's friend" everyone should be eligible to play and not have a good athlete wait until he is old enough to play or have and older child get to play just because of his grade. Freshman start in college! These program changes should apply to all Norwin sports programs. Get rid of "daddy ball"

Norwin's been losing for too long. We have talented, committed boys, so that doesn't seem to be the problem. Let's try a coaching change and see what happens.
