I understand there are competing narratives about this project. I would welcome a comprehensive study by independent, and qualified, consultants to address all issues before hte project proceeds further.

We should refuse to have our taxes used for this monstrosity that will not be taking care of. That is the reason for the needed replacement never took care of the upkeeping, typical CT.

A more conservative approach is to rehabilitate, not replace, the existing bridge. Could be accomplished within (1) year at a huge cost saving.

Keep the coat low and the bridge beautiful. The proposed plans has engineering that is used in the alps. We do not need a bridge of this stature.

This is a ridiculous waste of my taxpayer money AND horrific traffic nightmare for Norwalk AND horrible looking monstrosity, AND OH yeah, wasting my high taxes on this makes me rethink my voting.

Way too few boats going from the Sound to the short narrow river where there is NO huge boat, pleasure boat, or large corp shipping going on that needs a higher bridge. If a huge ship wants to move up go thru another city or town.
