As a long time resident of Marin County who went to school here and injoyed the former archery ranges at College of Marin in Kentfield and at China Camp, I was saddened to see them both close permanently, decades ago. Now I have to travel to the East Bay to shoot arrows and wish Marin had a local range available instead. Please return out door archery to Marin where it formerly was available, both in modern times as well as before Europeans came and took over.

Please allow an Archery Range within Olompali Park. Archers take safety seriously, and, it's a great outdoor experience for families. Good exercise, family togetherness, and healthy competition.

An outdoor archery range at Olompoli State Park would be a awesome location. The closest outdoor archery ranges are an hour or more from Novato. And having an archery range on land that was inhabited by the native Miwok Indians would be great for the sport. Not to mention keeping Indian tradition alive!

I am a responsible archer and taxpayer who would appreciate a safe and legal place to shoot arrows. China Camp in the past used to dedicate an island for that very thing.When the privilege was revoked that was the last I was able to enjoy refining precision shooting in my home county.
