I live near San Luis Obispo but I would definetly try to come up and visit if there was an archery range!

I have been to the park only twice in 30 years in Novato. I would probably be there two to three times per month with an outdoor range. I need the exercise, and this would give me the boost I need to get out there and do some real hikes.

An outdoor archery range is in keeping with the Miwok tradition and will be a much enjoyed, family oriented outdoor recreation space for Marin County.

Archery would be a fantastic way to change Olompali from a predominantly visual tour to an active one. Research shows when we work with our hands, as well as see and hear, we retain information more effectively. I believe the archery range could increase overall retention of historical information reported by guides and be a very family friendly way of doing it. I whole hearted lay support this endeavor!

Research shows when we work with our hands, as well as see and hear, we retain information more effectively.
