Northcote wharf is an integral part of this city’s history. It is part of the city’s fabric and needs to be valued.

We are desperately in need of this ferry service to be reinstated. The traffic congestion has escalated at the top of Queen st and Onewa Road, becoming dangerous with people running red lights.

We need these ferries. Show some common sense.

I don’t use it daily but it’s a great option to get into the city regularly and recommending visitors to use.

Anything that eases traffic from Onewa Road has to be a great investment ; not withstanding it was well used before for commuters ! Given we also have the new cycle path network too it would make sense to keep the cycle link at the end of Queen Street to the Ferry as another alternative for cyclists to use ?

Please keep the ferry terminal - without it you are just pushing people back into their cars.

I love to use the ferry and do so often, as a Northcote resident I love the relaxed way to travel and easy parking the Point offers. Any overseas visitors we have to stay with us we take them on the ferry from Northcote Pt. to the city - they have always loved the short trip under the bridge to the city and the wonderful historic atmosphere of the Point itself. This is a spot on Auckland's North Shore that should be greatly treasured and never lost on the whim of a few.

The Northcote Point Wharf should be an integral part of transport services here in Auckland. One just needs to take a look at the utilisation of ferries plying the Sydney Harbour and its value for commuters and the city. We should be looking towards the future and aligning the use of our wharf with the other developments that are crrently being undertaken

I'm sure I remember reading something years ago about how the rent from Fisherman's Wharf (or whatever it's called now) was going to pay for the upkeep of the wharf?

The service must be reinstated. The ferry is iconic to the Point with a long history. Apart from serving commuters(80+a day), locals and sight seers, AT has spent some millions on a grand connecting cycle way.As well the plans for Skypath. The ferry is a crucial link in these projects.

Prudent to have two ferry terminals in case of bridge damage due to earthquakes, accident blocking access or even bus driver strikes.

We need more ferries and ferry terminals, not fewer!

Please upgrade the terminal. Auckland is water-locked and needs more ferries, not fewer.

If Auckland Transport is really managing Auckland's transport they need to provide an all-weather ferry terminal. At present, their cycle way investment is a road to nowhere.

Do NOT close the ferry service permanently. Open again as soon as possible

Northcote Wharf is an integral part to a round harbour ferry service, how can AT even think about closing it. It is part of the history of our city, we need more wharfs to increase activity on the harbour waterway and help get people out of cars and create better experiences for our community and visitors alike.
