Definitely need the wharf upgraded. Onewa road and Queen St are majorly conjested. The ferry is the best way to get to the city by far!

The wharf needs to be reinstated immediately. The lack of a ferry has had terrible consequences for increased traffic down Onewa Road, Maritime Street, and Queen Street. Lack of a ferry equals more cars on the road.
Also, forget about SkyPath. We already have a very expensive cycle way down Queen Street which is currently not used because cyclists can't get on to a ferry at the end. the whole point of this cycle way was to connect up with the ferry and now it is redundant Don't let it turn into a white elephant.

It's equally important to get the wharf reopened. The decision to close it on safety grounds should be seriously scrutinised and reviewed.

We all used to use this at least 5 days a week if not more, seems like an obvious thing to reinstate and extremely bad PR if not. Other public transport stops would never remain closed this long...

I strongly support this! A cycle way from Northcote to Northcote Point costing $10m versus a wharf/operational ferry that takes cars off the road.

We need to invest more in ferries and less in buses where possible.
This includes expanding the ferry service to Greenhithe Herald Island and further.

Used this ferry terminal for many years when I lived in Hillcrest. It’s the best way to travel to work and back. Cuts down on stress levels. Please upgrade.
