Options 1 and 2 do nothing to in terms of providing a cheap option for the elderly to get from Northcote Point into the CBD. They are not going to be able to walk or bike using the skypath.

Seems silly to cut a service which going to be more important as population grows. How can you get cars off the road if there are no alternatives

The Wharf shouldn't have to go to waste. It's in a stellar location and the ferry service being provided on the North Shore will contribute to reducing congestion on the Harbour bridge as well as the number passengers on buses en route to CBD during peak hours. Often people who are commuting to and from the CBD during peak hours are not able to board the first bus that arrives at the stop because it is already fully loaded with passengers.

Stupid to close the ferry, such a vital part of the local community. They cant just keep closing down when things get tough. ar'nt they trying to improve transport links to CBD???
