This park was left for the local people. Why cant they upgrade the current one at Nab Wood like they are doing with one of the other ones

No, to the crematorium. Green space for people of Shipley as recreational space.

Stop spoiling our leisure areas a crematorium would be an eyesore.

Northcliffe is a beautiful place to spend the day walking or sitting. A crematorium would be out of place and ruin the area.

Given to Shipley Council as an open space for the enjoyment of Shipley residents by Norman Rae. Any other use is against the intention of this gift. Born and bred in Shipley and able to enjoy this open space.

This is a public place and should remain so for the pleasure of all.

When I lived in Shipley this park meant so much to our family leisure time, and I'm sure it still does to all the families that live there now. Please save it.

Green land to support community members within a city boundary is essential for people,'s mental well being

I have lived in Heaton and Frizinghall for over 55 years. The open access land of Northcliffe adds considerably to the quality of life of all those communities around it and for many from further a field. The council should respect the intention under which the land was gifted too them.

The potential development is completely against the spirit of the conditions of use for the land when it was granted to the people of Shipley. Find a way to redevelop the Nab Wood Cemetery site, Bradford Council - you're just NOT trying!

This area was left by Norman Rae for the recreation of the public. It is an area of natural beauty, a much needed and valued green space.

Northcliffe Park is such a popular park it is already used by walkers, children in play area, football and a wonderful area for dogs to run on an open piece of ground. If this area was allowed to be Crematorium it would eventually be less and less of a place for the public to just enjoy.

The park is a valuable space for the youngsters all year round. We spend many hours sledging and building snow figures in the park with our children in winter. The park should be retained as a space for families and children to play in safely.

The park needs to be kept as a park (a crematorium is not an open space) and there is already a crematorium down the road in Nab Wood!
