This cannot proceed, this park is an essential sanctuary for the community and so well loved and well used. Further, the evidence for how green space positively affects health is conclusive and abundant. Do not condemn this community that already has been neglected so much.

I am a regular user of this wonderful park & would be very upset to loose it. The council should not exploit their status as trustees.

This site belongs to the people of Shipley as open space and cannot be built on

The community space of Northcliffe is not compatible with a crematorium

Certainly a crematorium needs space as Nab Wood has indeed enjoyed for years. Northcliffe is a very different type of space and is as busy as ever being used by the surrounding community of all generations. These two needs are not compatible.

The crematorium proposal in Northcliffe Park is insane! We can't allow that.

This park should stay as it is, a park for everyone to enjoy, particularly children who love playing in it.

I strongly oppose the building of a crematorium in Northcliffe park. This land was bequeathed to the people of Shipley for recreation and tranquillity away from a busy road. It is a popular park with all local residents of all ages and would be very damaged by the building of a crematorium with extra traffic and people.

My memories of this park go back to childhood and it should be maintained for future generations as was intended by the benefactor.

Northcliffe Park was gifted to the people of Shipley and is held in trust. If Bradford Council goes ahead with the crematorium then they have broken that trust and can not be trusted with any thing of value in the future.

Northcliffe Park is a great public amenity which should not be scarred by the presence of a crematorium.

This open space needs to be kept as intended by the donor. There has to be other sites more suitable for this than a recreational area

This park should be saved. Why can't the council let churches use the ground they have.

As a local and somebody who has benefited greatly from the undisturbed use of this space, to see a crematorium established on such a peaceful and important part of local landscape. In today's world, especially in busy urban environments, it is rare to find reprieve from constant sonic and visual barrages. People deserve spaces where they can do more than simply consume or be forced to be subject to the aforementioned barrages. Please do your utmost to protect spaces like this, they are key to healthy and happy individuals and the communities they are a part of.
