Save Northcliffe Park from Crematorium Development

If there are so many other places available then I don’t see the need to target this park that the locals hold dear to themselves

It saddens me to know that such a tranquil space will no longer remain if this procedure is carried out - the park is sometimes a simple get away for some poeple and so it comes under rights not being taken under consideration

I strongly disagree with what’s happening and it really upsets me how some people are against preserving the green space we have been blessed with

The areas beauty lies in its green space which is so hard to find in other areas - children will be robbed from a simple pleasure (playing in the park) and that’s not righteous seen as there are other places available.

Plenty of other places to use. A park should not be considered at all.

The park is a beautiful place for people of all ages to enjoy. Not many areas around bradford have such a vibrant place for it's local and distant residents to explore and enjoy. Each morning you will see numerous people coming to walk their dogs, each weekend you will see the parks filled with children and families enjoying themselves, during football/cricket seasons there's a buzz and noise to be heard, the hours and years spent by the allotment users maintaining their crops/produce, the vast space is used by local and further a field schools for outdoor activities during the summer months, the variety of events led by the friends of northcliffe organisation ALL would be affected by the council's inept planning. I urge all the parks users to forward the petition to as many people as possible to maintain the heritage of this beloved park and what it has stood for from when it was bethrowed upon the COMMUNITY.

This land was left to the people of Shipley And it’s a fact that no permanent building Can be built on this land

I do not want any new building on this site. It is protected from any construction and should remain a green space for the people of Shipley as per Sir Norman Rae’s wishes.

Preserve the area for the generations to come

Need to preserve the heritage of northcliffe

Increase in traffic equals more pollution

Need to preserve the natural landscape

Parks are precious assets & need to be preserved for future generations.

I have an allotment at Northcliife and walking back home through the meadow or woods is magic.

My understanding is that this land was left in "in perpetuity" for the enjoyment of the citizens of Shipley, presumably whilst still living

This park was given to the community not for Bradford council to use as a crematorium. It is well loved and we visit often when we visit our son who lives nearby. He also has an allotment above the park. It is great to see all the families using the park on a fine day. Also keeping teenagers happy playing tennis etc instead of being in trouble elsewhere.

Great local space used by many

The change of use would impact the recreational use of the park considerably for all who use it now and in the future.

This is a valued site for local people left in Trust with the Council. The meadow alongside the woodland is an important habitat and recreational area for all ages and should be protected.

No
