This is a petition for the collection and emptying of the black wheelie bins to be done weekly and not fortnightly. With the collection system as it is the bins become a health hazard due to pests (flies, maggots) and smells especially in the summer. Also larger families may occasionally have to much rubbish for the black bin and therefore be unfairly penalized by the bins not being emptied or maybe a fine.
