Parents and students please sign this petition to allow seniors to leave during there lunch period to eat. The food served in our school is not enough for growing teenagers to eat many student dont eat lunch or throw away items . Lets make a change that should have happened a long time ago.

I think if someone skips class after their lunch period they should be punished by not being able to go out for their lunch. don't punish the students who follow the rules just because some people might skip. or how some schools let seniors with an overall average of 85% or higher leave, we should be rewarding kids and school lunches are NOT enough for teens.
I have 4 children in nt district schools that all complain because lunches are so gross they would rather not eat all day. Also are all watching what they eat and the healthy food selection is horrible.
The seniors deserve this!! I wish I had this opportunity when I was a senior, but it gives them the chance to see what college life is like and gives them the responsibility of paying for their own food and getting back to school on time for their next class!
prices and the amount given for it is definitely not enough for a growing teenager, it's like a lunch for a toddler, many teens can't afford a lunch especially ones who are not "eligible" for a free or a reduced lunch. And some teens don't even have a lunch in the schedules but have study halls.
As long as no one drives of off campus. Walking privileges only for seniors.any student who leaves Must be back on time or disciplinary action may be taken with removal of privileges.
Why not leave for lunch? I think its a great idea, just hold the student responsible for returning on time or loose the privilege. School lunches are terrible and are not enough food for a high school student.
I believe there are two issues here to be considered. 1) Senior privilege - I see no reason not to acknowledge those who have worked hard during their high school years by allowing them an opportunity to go off campus. (I doubt that the kids that earned the privilege would risk this opportunity by skipping out for the remainder of the day or causing trouble in the community.) This would also give the students in younger grades something to strive for. 2) If the quality of food the cafeteria is offering is that bad, something should be done to improve it for ALL students.

Show these kids you trust them to pracrice the responsibility you say your trying to teach them.
