Please do not allow construction on one of the loveliest sections of the Trailway. In addition to being dangerous it is a short-sighted move that will forever diminish this wonderful resource in Westchester and Putnam Counties. Many people have moved here to enjoy this treasure and it is foolish to destroy it.

I’m against cutting up the bike path/ it’s dangerous for little ones to cross streets and there’s no where else to ride bikes

We have lived in Somers for 32 years and have experienced many changes and improvements. However, this project/development will have a negative impact on the bike path and especially the neighborhood.

I oppose this idea as preserving nature and the safety of those using the trail are more important than money.

Don't disrupt the trail and ruin the environment. People should continue to enjoy the trail safely.

The Clayton Road extension is a better option. Crossing the bike path is a safety hazard.

It would be absolutely devastating if all these natural habitats and wildlife are destroyed for NO reason.

Allowing the extension of the Green Tree Rd cul de sac to cross the trailway is a dangerously bad idea for SO many reasons. These include, but are not limited to 1) danger to trailway users, 2) creating a precedent of crossing the trailway, 3) adding to the traffic problems on Rt 118, 4) negatively impacting the quality of life for current Green Tree Rd neighbors, and 5) conservation and environmental impacts to wildlife. Please do not move forward with this project.

I oppose allowing an extension of Green Tree road to cross over the North County trail. For numerous reasons already mentioned in this petition and other letters / emails already sent.
