North County Trailway Bike Path Dangerous Crossing

A private developer should not be allowed to bring traffic across the North County Trail and Bike Path. His porfit should not be at the expense of tax payers. Please do not rob the local folks like my sister, Mary Opher, of a quiet walk in nature to revive the spirit. It would also be taking land that absorbs rain water leading to higher possibilities of flooding. Lack of water absorbing land is causing major problems in many communities in America. I hope the developer in not overly influentcial in the Somers' City Hall.

I am against the town extending Green Tree Road across the North County Trail Way/Bike Path to build new homes. I agree this will create a dangerous crossing for cyclists, joggers and walkers. This especially includes children.

Please don’t touch this natural space that’s a shelter for various wildlife in our area.

Please do not destroy what nature has put in place for our wild animals who have known no other home than this.

Do not destroy the path

Unsafe for walkers, cyclists, hikers, runners, and dog walkers.

Cutting through the path is irresponsible! It does not need to be done!

So many people enjoy this trail. Please don't make it unsafe for them.

Don't disrupt the trail for three houses.

This is a very active portion of the trailway and would be dangerous to pedestrian traffic and harmful to the vegetation and wetland area.

This is unsafe and will create massive disruption to a beautiful trail this is used by many for biking, walking with dogs, & young children. Please do not move forward with these plans

Too dangerous- stop over developing

Stop the development across the Trail Way. Preserve the green space!

Make it safe for everyone and the community.

Please leave Greentree Road as it is.

Please don’t allow this development to go forward!! The beautiful trailway is a truly special and unique feature that adds value to our town!

There will be an alternative access to this property from future Route 6 development so why compromise safety on a bike, walking and running path used by thousands of voters.
