There is nothing to gain from adding bike lanes to Hampton Blvd except more road rage, more congestion and more unhappy residents. Is Norfolk really looking to give people more reasons to flee the city?

Reducing the lanes would result in more traffic congestion and increase the dangers of Hampton Blvd.

Do not reduce lanes on Hampton Blvd. try using other techniques to reduce speed than to make my 4 mile commute to the Naval Base take even longer than the 30 minutes it currently takes. That is just unacceptable.

Y’all have really lost it now !
Growing up in Larchmont almost my whole life I’ve seen a lot of changes ! But to make less lanes, pure stupidity !!! A lot of traffic fose thtogh that area every day !! Those who SPEED through there it’s actually their foolishness that causes an accident ! They mess-up on the road while driving THEY ACTUALLY PAY THE PRICE ! That’s called STUPIDITY!!!
LEAVE IT , LEAVE IT, LEAVE IT THE HELL ALONE !!!

Please do not reduce the number of lanes on Hampton Blvd. It will likely increase congestion, increase risk to drivers and bikers, and increase traffic through neighborhood roads in Larchmont.

Strongly oppose. If "the aim is to slow traffic", why are we putting bikers at risk in an attempt to reduce vehicular speed? I believe this is ill-conceived and we should rely on our law enforcement to tame speeding and unsafe driving.

Reducing lanes on Hampton Blvd. is a ridiculous idea. This will increase congestion on one of the busiest roads in Norfolk.

Lane reduction at Jamestown Cres is also unnecessary.
