Living in the Spring Lakes subdivision, I look forward to a second exit from this street. Ever since they opened the Godley Station school and are building an apartment complex on Spring Lakes Drive, we really need another exit. And, warehouses would provide jobs instead of more residential homes with more drivers and school kids.

I also have a concern with the unfinished townhomes on Comer St. Left open to the elements and a great haven for drug addicts. There are kids all over the place. I believe this to be a very unsafe and dangerous area.

The Highlands should stay residential pursuant to the Master Plan. There is land currently for sale on Jimmy Deloach Parkway that is available for warehouse development. Use it.

Don't let the developers change the master plan to accommodate their own agenda. As homeowners, it is time to step up and do what must be done to prevent this from happening. As many of you as possible need to take time off from work and go to the MPC meeting on July 19th at 1:30 pm at 112 E. State Street, Savannah, GA. The MPC must see homeowners in force and see and how serious we are about keeping the neighborhood residential.

Their financial gain should not encroach on our rights as homeowners in a location that rejects the rezoning of our neighborhood to "Light Industrial." The impact on property value is of the most urgency.

I do not wish for the area at the end of Highlands Boulevard to be zoned for industrial use. Doing so would be detrimental to the nearly 10 neighborhoods in the immediate area.
