Since all constructions started in area since last 6 months feel like living in third world country. Construction trucks are driven carelessly. I had at least 3 very narrow escape when truck came on road without stopping .

I bought in this area due to it being off the beaten path and well priced. The city already rezoned the area to Savannah so I now pay higher taxes and insurance due to Savannah issues.

This may be big bucks for Steve Hall and associates but, this is NOT in the best interest of the people who live here. This is a community of homeowners that walk their dogs, jog/walk/run, and our children are on these side walks and low traffic streets riding their bikes. This is NO place for industrial buildings and the large trucks they bring. I say no to this ridiculous proposal. Lets keep the Highlands a residentially zoned area!

I do not support the plan to rezone part of the highlands community to industrial. This will have a negative impact on our home values and community well being.

They have already dropped our property value and made it difficult to sell by changing our zip code from 31322 to 31407. We are considered either Port Wentworth or Savannah and not Pooler, and now they want to add trucking traffic and the issues of having industrial property in our community.

Concerns are large trucking traffic, added public bus routes and the hiring of convicted felons by the operators of these warehouses.

We purchased our home in Willow Point because it is a family based subdivision that we felt safe raising our son in. I feel with "any" industrial building, it would be a detriment to our family community and the safety of our children.

I would like to keep the original master plan. I would not have purchased my home in the Highlands knowing I would live next a light industrial area.

There always seem to be something going on behind our back. You can never get anyone to answer your questions. We do not need rezoning at the highlands. Allow the zoning continue to be residential.
