I have been spending my mornings walking down Richmond Avenue imagining the canopy of trees gone and the tracks taking their place. The silence from the transit board is telling but we are not going away quietly.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am not the only person who feels deeply protective of our neighborhood trees. This outpouring of support proves that our community refuses to let our green space disappear without a fight.

Please stop this. My kids play in these parks and we need that green space.
RIDICULOUS idea. Traffic is already a nightmare over there.
They want to chop down all those beautiful oaks for a train nobody in that neighborhood even asked for.
The trees are the only thing that makes that street nice. Dont ruin it with rails.
Keep the light rail off Richmond! We voted for other routes years ago and the city needs to listen to us for once.

So tired of metro just doing whatever they want despite what we voted for. Leave Richmond alone.
